From the Ocean, we could see a long beach bordering a dense jungle, with highlands outlining the horizon behind it. A boat was heading towards that land and Jeff Probst was standing on the edge of that boat, promoting the first season of the series.
Jeff Probst - We are in West Papua, in Indonesia! This province of Indonesia is fighting for their independence as we speak. The highlands of Papua are inhabited by primitive tribes. This is one of the only places on the planet where you could still encounter wild savages. In the past, these tribes were known as cannibals.
When Jeff Probst talked about the natives, we could see a black man holding a spear. He had primitive clothes and was screaming while holding his spear in the air. We could also see a bunch of Dani working in their village.
Jeff Probst - This is where our sixteen castaways will be marooned for the next forty-two days. They will be forced to create a new society and must adapt, or they will be voted out of their tribe. In the end, only one will remain to claim the million dollar prize!
Once Jeff Probst finished his last sentence, we had a brief moment when we could see many faces, such as Tyson's, the blonde guy with a purple shirt. He looked tall and confident. We could then see Jenna staring the horizon. She looked more serious, just like Laura, a black-haired woman with two tails. Unlike the others, Jerri, the only woman with a hat, was drinking in her canteen. Finally, we could see Todd holding his head with his hand on the edge of the boat.
Jeff Probst - Forty-Two Days! … Sixteen People! … One... Survivor!
Once Jeff Probst finished his last sentence, we had a quick zoom back that could let us see the whole land and the boat still heading to the beach.
The boat was almost arrived and we could hear the waves of the Ocean. Once they arrived, all the castaways picked up their bags without wasting any time and followed Jeff until they arrived to somewhere on the beach where two mats were waiting them: a green and a yellow one. Everyone picked a random spot before Jeff starts smiling at them.
Jeff Probst - Welcome to Survivor: Indonesia!
Everyone took a short moment to look at each other. We could see Natalie, the pretty blonde and young woman, looking at the other castaways.
Confessional Natalie -
Coming into a game like this, you never really know what to expect. Especially when you have such a diverse cast and you don't know who you will gel with and who you won't like. I don't know what to expect of all this work coming, that is something I am not used to.

Jerri looked at her competitors as well.
Confessional Jerri -
While in the boat, I had the opportunity to see some of my fellow cast mates for the next forty-two days. I don't have a competition among the girls, because none of them has something unique, while I do. Me as a whole unique, but if I should be more accurate my character and hair is enough.

Jeff then started talking.
Jeff Probst - You are a group of sixteen for now, but that will not be the case for too long, because you will be split into two tribes.
Tyson smiled and nodded.
Jeff Probst - This season's tribes will be Numfor and Yapen. I offer you an opportunity right now, to step up as a leader. I need two. More than two can suggest themselves if they wish. If you want to propose yourself to be a leader, you have ten seconds to step out of your mat.
Everyone seemed to wonder. Nate seemed hesitant but Jeff kept discounting, he was now at six. Finally, Nate decided to step out of the mat and Anthony did at the same time.
Jeff Probst - Four… Three…
Tyson stepped out of the mat.
Jeff Probst - Two… One… We have our three potential leaders. They are Anthony, Nate, and Tyson. But unfortunately, we only need two leaders, so you will compete in a very fast and simple challenge to figure out who the leaders will be. I will throw two balls, and the two people to catch one of the balls will be our leaders. Take a spot…
The three of them stepped back and Jeff was ready to toss a ball. Anthony seemed ready to catch it, just like Tyson, who was taller than him. Nate seemed ready to jump, standing in front of them. Jeff tossed the ball at them, and it went directly to Anthony, but because Tyson was taller, he caught it above his head. Jeff immediately tossed a new one and neither Anthony or Nate caught it ; it rolled behind them and they both ran towards it. Anthony picked it up first.
Nate - Good Job Anthony!
Nate walked back to the mats with the other castaways while Anthony and Tyson were facing the fourteen other players ready to pick teams.
Jeff Probst - So with that, Anthony and Tyson will be our two leaders! Both of you will get to choose your tribe mates turn by turn. Because Tyson got it first, he will choose first. You may only choose men for now. Tyson… make your choice…
Tyson pointed the black guy who stepped up to be a leader.
Tyson - I'll start with Nate.
Nate joined Tyson's team.
Confessional Nate -
After I had stepped up to be leader and failed miserably, I wanted to have a tribe of me and all sexy girls to cater to every desire. But then tribes were being picked and well we had to pick men first. Bleh, who likes men? Anyhow, surprise, surprise, Tyson picked me first. I mean, look at me, who wouldn't want me?

Anthony then pointed at Charlie, the guy that looked like the gay.
Anthony - I'll pick the guy there with black hair.
While Charlie was making his way to Anthony's team, Tyson pointed at Gabriel.
Tyson - I'll take the other blonde guy, the curly one.
While Gabriel was walking to his team, Anthony made another choice, pointing a bigger guy, Erik.
Anthony - I'll pick the guy there.
Noticing he was the one being picked, Erik went to Anthony's team. Both teams had now three men each, and Tyson only had one last man to choose. He had to choose between the small and thin guy named Todd or the blonde guy with sunglasses, Brian.
.
Tyson - I'll pick the last blonde guy.
Brians joined Tyson's team as we could see Todd joining Anthony's team by default.
Jeff Probst - All men are now part of a tribe, we are now choosing among the women.
Charlie got all excited about his team, jumping on place with hands on his cheeks.
Charlie - Oh my god! We got all the cutest guys in our tribe!
Anthony frowned his eyebrows at that comment when Jeff looked at him.
Jeff Probst - Anthony, you'll be picking women first.
Anthony looked at Stephannie.
Anthony - I'll pick the black girl there!
Stephannie smiled and walked in direction of her team, while Tyson pointed at Jerri.
Tyson - I'll pick the girl with a hat there.
Anthony looked at Jenna, wanting to take her for his team.
Anthony - I'll pick the small woman there…
Tyson then pointed at another blonde, this time being Sugar.
Tyson - I'll pick the blonde girl on the left.
Sugar smiled and joined Tyson when Anthony picked Natalie.
Anthony - I'll take the pretty girl.
This time, Tyson seemed interested in taking a woman who looked a bit older, Laura.
Tyson - I'll take the woman with black hair.
Laura joined him and Anthony had to decide between Scout, the older lady with an orange cap or Alexis, the younger woman with long and brown hair.
Anthony - I'll pick the older lady!
By default, Alexis joined Tyson's team, and they were now divided into two teams of eight. On one side, there was Alexis, Brian, Gabriel, Jerri, Laura, Nate, Sugar and Tyson, and on the other side, there was Anthony, Charlie, Erik, Jenna, Natalie, Scout, Stephannie and Todd.
Jeff Probst - We now have our two teams, Tyson's team, you will be Numfor! And your tribe color is… yellow!
Jeff tossed eight yellow buffs attached together and Nate caught them for his tribe. Everyone in his team were excited as they kept touching the buffs that Nate was trying to distribute. Jeff then looked at the other team.
Jeff Probst - Anthony's team, you will be Yapen! And your tribe color is… green!
Jeff tossed eight green buffs and Natalie caught them to share it with her tribe mates. Everyone were trying to find a spot on themselves where to put their buffs. Todd put it on his head, Scout around her neck, Laura on her head, Tyson on his forearm like Sugar… everyone were finding a place to put them.
Jeff Probst - Now that you are divided in two tribes, it is time to…
Everyone stared at Jeff waiting on the next words to come out of his mouth.
Jeff Probst - Compete for your first reward challenge!
Everyone gasped as Jeff started explaining the challenge.
Jeff Probst - For today's challenge, it will be very simple. On my go, one member of each tribe will run to a stack of clay bricks.
We could see a hundred clay bricks laying on the ground. There was only one stack of bricks for both tribes and somebody just arrived there.
Jeff Probst - … That person will take one brick…
… the person takes a brick in the stack…
Jeff Probst - … They will run back to their mat and smash it on the ground!
… the person smashes the brick on the ground and a flint came out of it.
Jeff Probst - Only one of these bricks contain a flint. The first tribe to find that flint wins it as a reward. Fire is the key of the game, having fire before the other tribe is a huge advantage. Makes sense?
Everyone nods and says yeah's.
Jeff Probst - Alright! Take a spot, we'll get started!
Both tribe seemed ready to go. Natalie was on her knee ready to run for Yapen and Tyson was running for Numfor.
Jeff Probst - Survivors Ready? GO!
Tyson and Natalie ran to the stack of bricks. They seemed to run at equal speed because they both arrived at the same time. When both were running back to their mat, Tyson took a slight lead on Natalie and he broke his brick first.
Jeff Probst - Numfor is having a little lead on Yapen now!
Tyson's brick had nothing and Natalie just broke hers. It was now Jerri and Stephannie running. Even though Jerri was helped by Tyson's lead, Stephannie was running faster and she brought the lead back for Yapen. Stephannie just picked a brick and was now running back.
Jeff Probst - Yapen is now in the lead! Numfor needs to catch up!
Jerri just picked up a brick and after a little while, Stephannie broke her brick that contained nothing and let Jenna go for her tribe. Jerri broke her clay brick and it also had nothing.
Jeff Probst - Both tribes still have nothing!
Sugar was now running for Numfor and was trailing behind Jenna only for a short period, because she caught up on her very fast.
Jeff Probst - Sugar is catching up for Numfor!
Sugar arrived to the stack of bricks and seemed to wonder which one to take.
Jeff Probst - You may be fast at running, but this is all about the brick you take… only one of them contains the flint... You DON'T want the other tribe to have it!
Sugar chose a brick and ran back with it. Jenna was still running and after a while, Sugar had the time to break her brick. It contained no flint. Nate continued.
Jeff Probst - Jenna really slowing down Yapen now!
Jenna finally came back with a brick and she smashed it to get nothing. Charlie continued for his tribe. Nate just picked a brick while Charlie was still running towards the pile. At the same time as he picked a brick in the stack, we could see Nate smash his brick on the ground. It had nothing, so Alexis went running for her tribe. Charlie just smashed his brick to let Natalie go.
Then, all of a sudden, we had a fast forward of people going back and forth to the stack of bricks and people smashing their bricks on the ground. Clouds were moving at a faster pace in the sky, until it stopped to where Nate broke his brick and Alexis started running.
Jeff Probst - This challenge is still undergoing! The less brick there are, the more your chances of finding the right one increase!
Natalie smashed her brick and Anthony went for Yapen. Alexis selected a brick, while Anthony was still running there. Once Alexis smashed her brick, Anthony picked one. Tyson was now running for Numfor.
Jeff Probst - Only a dozen of bricks left! Hurry!
Anthony was running back to his mat and once he broke his brick, Jenna went. A little later, Tyson picked a brick of his choice. Both were running to where they had to head to, and after a moment, Jenna picked a new brick. At the same time, Tyson smashed his, and we could hear a little metal noise. A flint just came out of it.
Jeff Probst - Numfor wins Reward!
Numfor were screaming their victory while Yapen were not celebrating anything. Tyson showed the flint to everyone.
Jeff Probst - Congratulations, Numfor, you have a flint to help you make fire. Now, I got something for all of you.
Jeff presented two rolled maps and two flags to his left.
Jeff Probst - This is your tribe's flag...
Jeff handed the yellow flag of Numfor to Brian and the green flag of Yapen to Erik.
Jeff Probst - And this is a map to your camp location…
Jeff tossed a rolled map to each tribe.
Jeff Probst - See you at the immunity challenge tomorrow, get your shelter done, have a good day!
Numfor walked away to their left and Yapen to their right.
NUMFOR, DAY 1
The sky was clear and dominated by the Sun, reflecting on the water. The tribe was heading to their camp, by following the beach. A yellow flag was waiting them at their location.
Jerri - There we are, Numfor!
As soon as the tribe arrived, they dumped their bags next to a tree or just on the ground. Everyone seemed to spot where they would settle their camp while Tyson was observing his tribe mates interacting.
Confessional Tyson - `
I only have one goal coming in here, and that is to win. I will do whatever is necessary to get to the finales. If it means screwing over my best friend to advance a round I'll do it. If it means cutting ties with allies to go for a better deal, I'll do it. If it comes to throwing challenges, I'll do it. As long as each round it's not me, that's all that matters.

Nate and Sugar went for a walk to explore where the tree-mail could be, while Alexis, Brian, Gabriel and Laura immediately took their shirts off to jump in the water to before the sunset. Tyson seemed shocked when he saw them take a bath right when they arrived. He turned around to Jerri, the last person remaining next to him. They could not be seen by anyone due to the trees and leaves hiding them from those taking a bath.
Jerri - You picked an amazing tribe, Tyson, so proud to be part of it!
Tyson - I think we should stick together.
Jerri - I agree.
Tyson - And we should align ourselves to those two who went walking.
Jerri - Let me get them.
Jerri left Tyson alone and tracked down Nate and Sugar. Tyson looked at her going away.
Confessional Tyson -
I've started off this game very aggressively, that's what you have to do if you want to win. First, I aligned myself with Jerri. I see this as a really good move on my part. Jerri is someone that I would rather be with than against, so I did not think twice before asking her for an alliance.

Jerri came back with both Nate and Sugar, and Tyson looked at them.
Tyson - So alliance?
Jerri - Fine with it! Such a fierce group.
Jerri looked at the four other Numfor putting their heads into the water. Alexis just pulled her head out of the water and she spinned her head to spread water out of her hair. Laura splashed water at Gabriel who splashed water back. Brian was laying back, relaxing in the water with his sunglasses.
Tyson - Might as well break the ice somehow.
Nate - I like the way you think!
Sugar - I am in it!
Sugar nodded.
Confessional Sugar -
Quickly, Tyson asked for an alliance between me, Jerri and Nate. I am actually good with this alliance! I like the four of them.

Tyson - We are the Numfor Four!
Sugar laughs.
Tyson looked at both girls then at Nate.
Tyson - So, which chick do you want?
Both girls laughed.
Nate - I'll take Sugar of course!
Sugar smiled at Nate, then he looked at Jerri.
Nate - Sorry Jerri, I like blondes!
Tyson - Good, that's most diplomatic, Jerri wants me pretty bad.
Tyson winked at Jerri.
Confessional Tyson -
My next alliance was with Nate and Sugar. Do I plan on keeping this alliance? HELL NO. This is pretty much a classic example of keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer. It's better to have them with me than against me. I would just love to see the look on their face when I blindside them out of the game, it would be very satisfying.

Nate just nodded while looking at the three others of his alliance.
Confessional Nate -
We are called the NumFour Alliance, who are gonna _______ this game up, left and right. The best part is, Tyson has easily stepped up as the leader which is great cause he's going to be a big target once merge hits.

Nate laughs with his alliance members.
Confessional Nate -
Once he goes, I'll be with the two ladies.
Once he goes, I'll be with the two ladies.
They looked at the four people in the water, still laughing together.
YAPEN, DAY 1
The eight Yapen were walking along the coast towards their location. They could see their green flag, being attacked by a light wind. At the same time, we could see a bird on a branch, looking at them coming. Once they arrived, they dumped their bags away. We could see Anthony looking near the sun, putting his hand above his eyes.
Confessional Anthony -
Well, the beginning of this game was interesting. They asked if anybody wanted to be a leader, I stood up and said I would like to be. I got to choose my own tribe. We are a strong tribe and are looking forward to dominating this game. We then went right into the reward challenge. Unfortunately, we tried our best but did not come out on top of this challenge.

Charlie looks at Erik who already laid on the ground, exposing his body to him.
Confessional Charlie -
Our tribe totally lost today's reward but it was because Jenna sucks and Anthony couldn't do it well and Tyson got lucky so like our tribe sucks in general but that's fine. We have Erik who oh my god have you seen those pecks? Oh my god! I'll so do him right here and right now, he is so fine!

Charlie went to Erik and sat right next to him, smiling. Erik did not seem to notice anything.
Confessional Charlie -
I like being in a sucky tribe cause that makes me bond a lot faster. I intend to be a very sneaky player, I'll make everyone think I've fallen for Erik and I ride him like a cowboy then when we don't need him, BAM! There he goes and I choose the next alpha male to ride. It's gonna be a fun ride. *Giggles*

Erik stood up and walked away when Natalie rejoined Charlie.
Charlie - At the challenge, I was really wondering if Jenna sucked that much or she was throwing it…
While he was talking about her, we could see Jenna walking near the water well.
Natalie - Why though?
Natalie looked around her but Jenna was not there.
Natalie - I don't want to do all that bitch work, I might break a nail.
Charlie - Oh my god! You have really pretty nails, I hope you don't break it.
Charlie looked at Natalie's long and well-sharpened nails.
Natalie - Thanks. I guess it wasn't smart to get them done before coming!
Charlie - Well, at least you have style though, like oh my god they are pretty!
Natalie - Charlie, you're making me blush.
Charlie - You know who makes me blush? Erik, oh god, he is so hot! Have you seen those pecks? Oh my god, I'll die for them.
Natalie - I know right? We can share him?
Charlie - I would rather not share though, no offense. He is too hot to share!
Confessional Natalie -
For the person connection, I can tell I am going to really enjoy Charlie's company.
For the person connection, I can tell I am going to really enjoy Charlie's company.
Natalie was looking at her pretty nails as the sun settled down.
YAPEN, NIGHT 1
We could see the moon dominate the dark sky. Yapen had no shelter nor any fire. We could see a cricket on a branch, chirping while the tribe was looking for a spot to sleep. Charlie was following Erik all over the place and Natalie laid on the sand of the beach to sleep there. In the other hand, Scout found her spot: it was next to a tree with no grass around. Finally, everyone could sleep and Charlie was sleeping besides Erik.
NUMFOR, DAY 2
The sun raised quickly and shined on Numfor's closed eyes. We could tell they had a hard first night. Jerri opened her eyes first while the others were forcing themselves to keep them closed. She sat on the logs she slept on and rubbed her eyes. She was looking around the logs, at the search of the flint they had put somewhere last night. After a few seconds of search, she finally found it. She picked the flint and the machete, and found a spot where she hit the flint with the machete above a few branches, surrounded by rocks.
The noise of the flint getting hit by the machete woke Nate up. He was blinking his eyes to look at Jerri, who was snapping her flint over and over. Nate, unable to go back to sleep again, stood up and sat next to her to watch her. Jerri started making sparkles and after five or six more hits, the sparkles became a little fire. She started blowing on the steam while Nate was adding firewood to the little fire. Flames quickly became big enough to be used as a campfire.
Nate - Awesome, we have fire now!
Nate and Jerri cheered loud enough to wake up other people in the tribe. Everyone else were yawning while Nate and Jerri high fived.
Confessional Nate -
To get to the big story of the decade, Jerri was blowing… Tyson, huh, I mean, to keep the fire alive.
To get to the big story of the decade, Jerri was blowing… Tyson, huh, I mean, to keep the fire alive.
Jerri looked at Nate.
Jerri - I think we should start the shelter too, where is Brian gone?
She looked at the rest of her tribe, who were also looking around themselves. They saw Brian coming back from the woods with more wood. Noticing he was collecting wood and leaves to craft the shelter, both Jerri and Nate started helping him and brought the wood he collected back to camp.
Laura was still sitting alone on the logs that were used as a bed last night, looking at her tribe working. Alexis just grabbed a pandanus, an exotic fruit, suspended to a tree.
Sugar just dumped a wooden branch to the campfire and we see the tribe working together with the logs to craft a shelter.
Nate was holding the extremity of one log while Brian hit the other extremity with the machete.
Brian - There you go!
One part of the other extremity falls off the ground, making of the log a log that perfectly matches with the size of the shelter. They aligned all the other logs as well, until they had completed the base. Alexis and Laura were looking at their work, excited about having a shelter.
When it was done, Jerri stood up on the base to test its resistance.
Jerri - It is enough resistant!
Brian - Awesome!
When Alexis and Laura heard them saying it was perfect, they immediately sat on the base of the shelter.
Tyson - We're not done um!
They both got away from it and Jerri was making a hole to insert another log in there.
Jerri - Okay, there you go, put it in there.
The guys were adding a log to the hole she made. Jerri put the sand back into the hole and the log seemed solid enough to stay fix. While they were working, we could see a spider that was moving on her spider web, watching every move of Numfor.
YAPEN, DAY 2
The sun was shining on the eyes of Natalie, who had slept on the beach. She blinked her eyes a few times before she wakes up. The whole tribe slept in different places, but Natalie headed to the woods to start getting resources. She just grabbed a heavy log and pulled on it. She rolled it to the beach, and we could see a fast forward of her making a stack of wood that will be necessary to craft a shelter.
Confessional Natalie -
Ever since we got back to camp and slept on the ground, I made it my mission to bust my ass so we could get a shelter. I am a Southern princess, I do not sleep on the ground.

When Natalie came back with another log, Charlie arrived and looked at her working.
Charlie - What are you doing?
Natalie - Making the shelter.
Charlie - I'll help you.
Charlie and Natalie were doing a lot of noise by collecting their wooden logs. Charlie put one extremity of the log on his shoulder, so did Natalie with the other extremity. A little later, Scout arrived and helped them as well.
Confessional Scout -
I haven't met anybody yet. But I've been gathering things for the tribe to make myself look viable for the tribe.
I haven't met anybody yet. But I've been gathering things for the tribe to make myself look viable for the tribe.
Scout - Shouldn't we make the shelter in the woods instead of on the beach? Floods will screw the shelter.
Charlie - Yeah, we should, let's transfer the wooden logs to the woods.
Working together, the three of them transferred all the logs further away from the beach. To represent time passing, we could see clouds moving at a fast pace and tons of ants working on their anthill. Scout just rubbed her forehead full of sweats. Natalie took a break, so Charlie and Scout were alone.
Scout - I think we have enough wood, don't we?
Charlie - Yeah, I agree.
Scout - People that don't contribute with resources are my targets.
Charlie - Yeah, unless it's Erik, since he is too hot to vote out.
Scout - Pfft, I am the hottest in the game.
Charlie - I don't roll that way Scout, sorry.
Charlie seemed a little uncomfortable with that comment.
Confessional Charlie -
Scout is invisible, old and ew… I talked with Scout today, we talked about the tribe participation around camp. I think camp life is going to override challenge performance soon, because having someone lazy around won't benefit you in the long run, it's an important balance for sure. I'm excited to see how it plays out, work ethic versus challenge performance, good that I have both.

Scout still had a lot of sweats in her face.
Confessional Scout -
My strategy for now is very simple. Begin a relationship with everybody and target people that don't gather much resources. This is not the time to look for the bigger picture yet. For now, I only want to survive in this place.

Together, Charlie and Scout had made a strange-looking shelter. Even if it seemed solid enough, the form was a square instead of a rectangle, and instead of making walls to it, they did a tipi. Charlie, Natalie and Scout were now adding leaves to that tipi. Anthony was looking at them.
Confessional Anthony -
Well, it's onto the second day and things at camp are going awesome. Most people are pulling their weight around camp and are helping with chores and things we need to survive and stay fit during the game. Hopefully, we can keep up the hard work and win some challenges.

Stephannie smiled at the finished shelter.
Confessional Stephannie -
This game looks really fun so far, we joined our tribes last night and I am so happy with my tribe. Hopefully, we can go far in this game together, I think we are much more stronger than the other tribe.

Scout, not having enough of the work, decided to start a fire. She was rubbing two wooden sticks, but it wasn't working.
Confessional Scout -
Now I am sad, because I have failed to build the fire!
Now I am sad, because I have failed to build the fire!
NUMFOR, DAY 2
Numfor had almost done their shelter, and Brian just added the last leaf to it. Numfor cheered and further, we could see Nate and Sugar next to a tree. To the top of the tree, there were bananas. Nate started climbing the tree and Sugar was watching him from below. Once he got to the top of it, he started taking off the bananas one by one and Sugar caught them. Nate slid down the tree and rejoined Sugar who was walking back to camp.
Sugar - We got bananas!
Everyone seemed excited and ran to her.
Laura - Oh yummy!
Laura reached Sugar's bucket and took a banana in it, and returned back to sit in the shelter. Sugar rolled her eyes when Laura turned around and she left the bananas next to a tree because Tyson was coming back with the tree-mail.
Tyson - Got Tree-Mail!
Everyone formed a circle around him to listen. Meanwhile, we could see what was written on the parchment.
Tyson - "Today, you will compete in your first immunity challenge, your hands will be of good use, underground will be located your pieces required to win immunity."
Tyson looked at his tribe.
Tyson - We might have to dig.
The clouds moved at a fast pace and we could see the tribe packing their stuff, ready to go. Nate grabbed the tribe's flag and put his bag on his shoulder. They were walking along the beach in one straight line.
CHALLENGE FIELD
We could see the challenge field located in the highlands. There was twice the same obstacle course, one decorated yellow and the other one decorated green. For each tribe, there were four large sand pits and in the end, there was a table with a blanket on it. Nearby the mats, Jeff was waiting for the tribes to come.
Jeff Probst - Come on in guys!
Further away, we could see both tribes coming in one straight line. The eight Numfor were heading to the yellow mat, and after them, on the opposite side, the eight Yapen were heading to their green mat. Once they arrived, Erik planted his tribe flag in the sand.
Jeff Probst - Welcome to your first immunity challenge! Let me show you what you are playing for…
Jeff reached something that was covered with a blanket and quickly uncovered it: it was a wooden immunity idol on a round table.
Jeff Probst - You are playing for immunity: Win this, and you will be safe from tribal council. If your tribe does not win this, one of you will unfortunately be the first person to go home.
We could see Stephannie while he was talking.
Jeff Probst - For today's challenge, you will be competing in a group challenge. Everyone will participate together. On my go, you will head to the first sandpit.
We could see people running to a sand pit.
Jeff Probst - Once you are in the sandpit, you will be digging for a bag of puzzle pieces. You must find that bag before you move on to the next sandpit.
We could see the group digging in the sand and one of them retrieved a bag of puzzle pieces.
Jeff Probst - Once you got the bag of puzzle pieces, you move on to the next sandpit. Once you gathered all four bags,
We could see the group running with their four bags.
Jeff Probst - You will untie those bags in order to have all the necessary puzzle pieces.
We could see them untying the bags and a ton of yellow pieces of puzzles fell on a puzzle table.
Jeff Probst - You will then work together to complete a puzzle. First tribe to complete the puzzle…
We could see the puzzle complete itself, it was written "Numfor is not going to tribal council" with a yellow background.
Jeff Probst - Wins Immunity! Makes sense?
Erik and Natalie both nodded.
Stephannie - Yeah!
Jeff Probst - Alright! I'll give you a few minutes to strategize and we'll get started!
When tribes were ready, we could see some people like Tyson, Anthony, Charlie and Scout on their knee ready to go.
Jeff Probst - Survivors Ready?? Go!
We could see both tribes running together to their first sand pit. All Yapen arrived first to their sandpit while Numfor were almost arrived. Scout was already in the sandpit looking for a spot to dig.
Scout - Okay, I'll be searching this area…
Scout started digging by sending all the sand outside the sandpit. On the other team, we could see whole tribe digging. Jerri looked at her tribe mates.
Jerri - I think we should separate areas.
Brian chose a zone and dug in it, so did Laura and Alexis. We could see Jenna trying to retrieve a bag from the sand.
Jenna - Here it is!
She kept trying to pull it out but it was stuck in the sand. Stephannie came to help her, so did Erik. Together, they all pulled on the bag and it ended up in Jenna's hands.
Jeff Probst - Yapen has their first bag! They can now move on to the next sandpit!
The whole Yapen tribe ran to their next sandpit, while Laura kept digging on the same spot continuously.
Laura - Nothing yet…
Brian - It's all covered here…
Brian changed spot while Yapen were digging on their second sandpit. We could see Anthony digging with a great speed and Alexis sighing. She was digging on the same spot over and over and at times she looked at her tribe mates to see if they got the bag.
Jeff Probst - Numfor making no progress, Yapen still looking for their second bag.
On Yapen side, we could see Stephannie and Jenna digging in different directions. On Numfor side, we just saw Brian pulling a bag out of the sand.
Brian - Got it!
Jeff Probst - Numfor got their first bag of puzzle pieces!
Brian tossed his puzzle bag to Nate who caught it and on Yapen's side, Stephannie just pulled the next bag.
Jeff Probst - Stephannie got the second bag for Yapen! Let's go!
While Numfor arrived to their second sandpit, Yapen were running to their third sandpit in order to dig for another puzzle bag. Gabriel reserved himself a zone to cover so did the rest of his tribe. Jerri and Tyson were digging on the same spot. Alexis looked at Tyson who just pulled the second bag.
Jeff Probst - Tyson got the second bag for Numfor! They're catching up now!
The tribe of Numfor ran to their third sandpit, on which Yapen was currently working on. Once they arrived, we could see Stephannie pulling on another bag again.
Jeff Probst - Stephannie got the third bag for Yapen! One more! Numfor needs to pick it up if they don't want to lose this challenge!
Charlie - Good Job!
Charlie and the rest of his tribe ran to their last sandpit to look for the last bag.
Jeff Probst - Numfor is one sandpit away from Yapen! That's a huge lead!
Alexis was digging, just like the rest of her tribe.
Jeff Probst - There is still a puzzle to catch up, do not give up!
The whole Numfor tribe looked a little bit confused in their digging. We could see Brian, Jerri and Laura digging on their own spots, but they still had no bag after all the time they spent in that sandpit. The camera shows a spot that has not been dug yet. Yapen tribe had all their zones covered. Both tribes were digging hard.
Jeff Probst - Yapen having a lot of progress!
We could see Yapen's sandpit being filled with holes everywhere while Numfor did not have as much as Yapen. All of a sudden, we could see Natalie pulling on the last bag out of the sand.
Jeff Probst - Yapen has all their bags! They can now work on the puzzle! Hurry, Numfor! You are still on your third sandpit!
The Numfor tribe seemed tired of digging as they couldn't find their bag. Jerri decided to stop digging and she looked around herself. She pointed at a spot.
Jerri - There! We didn't dig there!
The whole tribe rushed on that zone while Yapen members just deposit their bags of puzzle on the table. Anthony, Erik, Charlie and Scout each took a bag and started untying them. Once they were done, they spread the puzzle pieces on the table.
Jeff Probst - Yapen now working on the puzzle! Numfor gotta hurry if they want immunity!
We could see Laura pulling bag for Numfor. Brian helped her to pull that off the sand and they succeeded.
Jeff Probst - Numfor finally got their third bag! Only one more!
Yapen were looking for all pieces of puzzle that seemed to be the border and they were adding them to where they had to go. Erik seemed to be leading the puzzle.
Erik - That is going right there!
Erik puts a puzzle piece on one of the corners of the board. They were now done with the entire borders of the puzzle. Jenna just added another piece when Brian pulled the last bag off the sand. He tossed it to Nate who was closer to the table.
Jeff Probst - Numfor can now start working on the puzzle!
All Numfor member rushed to their puzzle table. Erik just assembled a large chunk of pieces together and put that chunk somewhere on the puzzle. For Numfor, Jerri, Nate, Gabriel and Tyson were untying the bags. Once they were done, they spread all pieces on the board. Jerri and Brian were working together, adding some pieces to the corner of the board. Tyson had just done a random large chunk of pieces when Erik had the last piece in hands for Yapen.
Erik - I got it!
Charlie - Oh my god!
Yapen cheered as Erik put down the last piece for his tribe.
Natalie - You are amazing!
Jeff Probst looked at their puzzle and raised his hands.
Jeff Probst - Yapen wins immunity!
Everyone from that team cheered while the other tribe seemed upset of their lost.
Jerri - Darn.
Once both tribes were back to their mat, Jeff Probst took the wooden immunity idol and handed it to Scout, who grabbed it immediately to share it with the rest of her tribe. Jeff then turned around to Numfor, who was sad and upset.
Jeff Probst - Numfor, I got nothing for you except a date with me at tribal council where the first person will be voted out. Grab stuff, head back to camp and you see tomorrow for tribal!
Sugar shook her head of disappointment as the rest of her tribe packed their things to walk away. Yapen were still celebrating while grabbing their stuff.
YAPEN, DAY 2
The Yapen tribe was back to camp and Anthony just dumped his bag next to a tree.
Confessional Anthony -
Well, it was time for the immunity challenge and we came with our game faces on. We took the lead and never gave up. Working as a team was awesome and we have a great group working together! We came out on top and none of us will be the first one to leave the game. It feels great! I picked an awesome tribe.

Scout deposits the immunity idol inside the shelter and carefully leaves the shelter not to get hurt by their strangely built shelter.
Confessional Scout -
Yay! We won immunity! I wanted to win that one absolutely, cause I had the feeling I might be an early target because of my performance at the challenges. I can use that additional time to work over a strategy. I have almost talked to everybody. So far, my favorite people are Charlie, Erik and Natalie.

We could see Charlie, Erik and Natalie, sitting together around a campfire that did not exist yet while Scout was talking about them.
Charlie looked at Erik.
Charlie - Well, you saved us at the challenge, so you are golden in my book.
Erik laughs.
Charlie - So have you talked to many people yet?
Erik - Natalie and Scout, you?
Charlie - You three and Stephannie, don't really feel like talking to Jenna and Anthony to be honest.
Erik - Any reason why?
Charlie - They kind of annoy me.
Erik - Do I annoy you?
Charlie - Of course not!
Erik - Why, thank you.
Charlie - Why would you annoy me?
Erik - You never know.
Confessional Charlie -
Okay so like oh my god today we like totally won the challenge and stuff and it was awesome because Erik lead us in it and won it for us and oh my god he is so f****** hot. I had this conversation with him today and like I think he thinks he is playing but no, he isn't. I'm playing him so bad, like god!

Natalie looks at Erik and Charlie.
Confessional Natalie -
There is no need to be scrambling at the moment cause we won immunity, which is good. We needed to put the other tribe in its place after they beat us in the reward challenge last night. So I am glad we did that. I was so impressed with Erik's puzzle skills, he is better than I am at puzzles! I was so damn stunned!

NUMFOR, DAY 2
We could feel their lost as the eight of them were walking back to camp together with their stuff. Alexis immediately went to the shelter to sit down with Laura. Gabriel looked at them.
Confessional Gabriel -
I am in shock. We had such a good team spirit and we were all very excited for this first challenge. I don't know what happened. We were robbed, big time.
I am in shock. We had such a good team spirit and we were all very excited for this first challenge. I don't know what happened. We were robbed, big time.
Jerri and Gabriel took a different path than the rest of the tribe.
Gabriel - God, it really sucks.
Jerri - It does!
Gabriel - This is going to be a hard vote, I don't even want to think about it.
Jerri - I totally agree.
Gabriel - Nobody is talking to me, I am worried. We don't really want to talk about the vote right now I think.
Jerri - That's what I think too, just the thought we lost sucks and now to talk about the vote…
Gabriel - I don't really know what to do…
Jerri left him alone and rejoined her tribe at camp while Gabriel continued his way to where he was heading to. Isolated from the others, Laura and Tyson were talking.
Laura - Hey Tyson, I think we should align ourselves together.
Tyson - That seems like a good idea. By the way, who do you think should go home tonight?
Laura - I am thinking Alexis.
Meanwhile, we could see Alexis eating some fruit with the rest of the tribe.
Tyson - Oh okay. So I will convince the others to vote for her and everything should be fine.
Laura - Good!
Laura walked away and Tyson was looking at her leaving the place.
Confessional Tyson -
My next alliance is with Laura. If Laura thinks she's anything more than a vote to me, then I feel really REALLY bad for the bitch. I mean she's annoying as hell, doesn't help out at camp, and isn't even that good at challenges. I just know there's no way she would turn on me, so it's easy to simply guarantee her vote is mine by saying we will work together.

While Laura was still leaving, Gabriel caught her.
Gabriel - I really thought we had this.
Laura - Same here, hopefully we will get the next one. Any idea on the vote?
Gabriel - No idea at all.
Laura looked around herself.
Laura - I have been hearing Alexis.
Gabriel - Really? Who said that?
Laura - I don't reveal that man.
Gabriel - Oh okay, is it just a random name?
Laura - Yeah, the person's reason was because she didn't talk that much and it seemed like she was just waiting for the tribe to get a pillow to move on to the next sandpit.
Gabriel - Okay, are you going to vote for her?
Laura - I am not sure yet.
Both Gabriel and Laura stopped at the water well to get water. Somewhere else, Nate and Sugar were sitting on the beach next to each other.
Sugar - Tyson said the target tomorrow night is Alexis.
Nate - Really?
Sugar nods.
Nate - What were the reasons?
Sugar - He said that she wasn't of help at all.
Nate nodded.
Confessional Nate -
Tyson told Sugar who told me Alexis was the target tomorrow night, because she doesn't seem like much help. I really couldn't care at this point. Let Tyson call the shots, cause once merge hits, he is going to go. I'm calling it right now, there is NO way he's winning the game.

At camp, everyone were sitting around the campfire, admiring the sunset. The sun settled down and raised back just as fast.
NUMFOR, DAY 3
A small snake was creeping along a branch. It was seeking a bug to the other extremity of that branch. A few meters away, Brian and Tyson were discussing.
Tyson - Since we are doing so well around camp and in challenges, I think us two should work together, no?
Brian - Yeah, good idea.
Confessional Tyson -
I immediately asked Brian for an alliance because I knew that he would be a good ally since he's such a hard worker around camp. I mean let's face it, I'm lazy, and if he's getting food, getting water and maintaining the shelter, that's just something I don't have to do. Also, I think potentially he's a good ally because nobody has gotten to him yet.

Tyson - That's awesome!
Brian - I want to make it clear: I never betray my first alliance, we'll be good to the finales.
Tyson - Oh my god, I'm the same way, my trust is the first person I align to.
Brian - So we can be final two buddies!
Confessional Tyson -
When I asked Brian for an alliance, this is where it gets good, he flat out tells me that pretty much he doesn't betray his first alliance, and that we'll be good to the finales. Just what I wanted, I knew nobody had gotten to him yet, I mean it's good back up for me, but little does he knows, he's not my first ally, he thinks he is, but he's not.

Brian - I think we could bring Jerri into our alliance.
Tyson - That's a great idea.
Confessional Tyson -
He even was the one to bring Jerri into the alliance. It was just so easy.
He even was the one to bring Jerri into the alliance. It was just so easy.
Jerri was not too far so they could bring her with them when Tyson did a sign of hand to ask her to come.
Brian - Hey Jerri, me and Tyson were wondering if you would be on board for an alliance of three between me, you and him.
Jerri looked at Tyson then Brian.
Jerri - Oh yeah, of course!
Tyson - Awesome, we're all on board!
We could see the reflects of the sun on the water, where two birds seemed to be playing there. Alexis was alone, sitting on the beach to look at the horizon. She did not seem very happy, looking at those birds. She looked kind of sad.
Confessional Alexis -
Eww at losing the immunity challenge... But whatever, I am going to tell everyone to vote me out.
Eww at losing the immunity challenge... But whatever, I am going to tell everyone to vote me out.
Alexis stood up and rejoined her tribe who was around the campfire cooking a fish.
Alexis - Hey Everyone... So ... if you haven't made up your mind already, it's okay if you guys vote me out.
Gabriel looks shocked but kind of seemed happy at the same time. Nobody seemed to really care.
Tyson - Really?
Alexis - Yeah.
Alexis sat with them to eat fish.
We could see the steam of the fire, then the clouds moving a little bit. Jerri and Brian were off to a walk.
Jerri - No but you heard Alexis?
Brian - I guess everyone did.
Jerri - Yeah I think so.
While they were talking, Tyson came by and whispered.
Tyson - Just a warning, I'm cussing out Laura tonight.
Brian laughs as we had a view on Laura eating a fruit at camp.
Tyson - Bitch does shit around camp.
Brian - I feel that she barely does anything, she's next on my list.
Tyson - I'm going to flat out tell her, pick up slack or she's next off.
The time seemed to have passed as the ambiance changed with everyone starting to pick their things up. We could see Gabriel picking up his bag and put it on his shoulder.
Confessional Gabriel -
We now have to vote somebody out, it's going to be extremely difficult, because we don't really know each other at the moment and it's quite hard at this stage to see who is putting less efforts than somebody else. Because of that, everybody is a target and I'm very worried.

On the other hand, Tyson looked a lot more confident, while he was walking with the rest of his tribe in one straight line, heading to tribal council.
Confessional Tyson -
Now, that leaves Gabriel and Alexis. I've tried talking to both. Gabe is about as interesting as wallpaper, and Alexis is just complete dead weight. We have to trim the fat on our tribe. You never know what can happen in this game, things can change at any moment, but if there's one thing you can bank on, it's that things will most likely go my way, because I am the greatest.

TRIBAL COUNCIL
All of a sudden, the sun settled down to let the moon come into view. All Numfor were walking, in one straight line, towards the tribal council with no torches in hand, only their bags on their shoulder. To get there, they had to cross a suspended bridge and a sandy path. Once they arrived inside the tribal council, it was an indigenous village in the middle of the jungle. The huts were round with a straw roof. Jerri stopped walking at one point near the sitting spots. She was looking at Jeff.
Jeff Probst - Welcome to tribal council, Numfor. Behind each of you is a torch, go ahead and grab a torch, reach the fire and dip it in to get fire.
While Jeff Probst was explaining the ritual of tribal council, we could see Gabriel getting a torch behind the sitting spots. Sugar smiled when she dipped her torch in the campfire, center of the tribal council.
Jeff Probst - This is part of the ritual of tribal council, because in this game, fire represents your life...
Alexis took her torch out the first and turned around.
Jeff Probst - As long as you have fire, you're still in this game, when you're fire's gone, so are you. That will be the case for one of you tonight.
After Jeff's last sentence, Nate and Laura were the last ones of their tribe to sit down. Jeff waited on everyone to be ready.
Jeff Probst - Jerri, yesterday, your tribe lost the immunity challenge against Yapen, how frustrating is it?
Jerri sarcastically smiled as she replied to Jeff.
Jerri - Well, it definitely is frustrating to be here, at the first tribal, because we are all just so strong and committed into this game. However, we can beat them and I believe that's what we are gonna do next time.
Tyson nodded and Brian looked at Jerri.
Jeff Probst - Brian, is there anyone in the tribe that you consider weaker than the others or everyone seems to be on the same level?
Brian - Well, I think it is a bit early to label someone as a weak link cause honestly, we barely know each other. But after the challenge, I feel that everyone will more or less size each other up and thus there might be a "weak" link in the tribe which we have not discussed about yet.
Jeff Probst - Challenges might be one thing, but there is also camp life. Tyson, tell me, how things are going around camp?
Tyson - Camp life is fine, we are all working really hard to maintain our camp, and it's pretty much all fine and dandy.
Jeff Probst - Do you think that everyone in this tribe pulled their weight at camp life or is there anyone that you feel like they did not pull their weight enough?
Tyson - No, I do not think Alexis did enough, I mean she is definitely dead weight on our team. And yes, I do actually mean her weight, she is fat.
Alexis stares innocently at Tyson while Laura's eyes opened widely with a giggle.
Brian - Oh my god, it's brutal but it might be true.
Jerri puts her hand in front of her mouth and laughs.
Jerri - And plus, I'm not sure, but it seems some people don't want to be here as much as the others and asked to be voted for.
Laura reacted and kind of showed Alexis with her hand.
Laura - Yeah! I don't know why the heck she did that!
Jeff Probst - If we look at it the other way, Jerri, who works the best around camp in your opinion?
Jerri - Well, pretty much all of us try our best at camp, it's something we can't live without so we need to keep it up good.
Laura looked at Jerri.
Jeff Probst - Then, does anyone work harder than the others?
Jerri - It depends, I am good at blowing, so I am doing that...
Nate laughs at Jerri.
Jerri - Others are good at hunting, taking fish, and what not. So pretty much everyone is apart of doing something that helps the entire tribe.
Jeff Probst - Laura, it's only been three days you have spent in Indonesia and you are already going to tribal council, do you think people have already formed solid bonds and alliances?
Tyson stares at Laura.
Laura - That could be true, but I doubt it, cause normally, the solid bonds don't take place until like the third or fourth tribal council, but it could happen this round who knows.
Jeff Probst - Then what will you base your vote on?
Laura - To be honest, I am not one hundred percent sure... someone...
Laura pointed at Alexis.
Laura - Asked to be voted out, and I am thinking of going with that but still not one hundred percent sure.
Jeff Probst - Which means, the vote could potentially be still up in the air?
Laura - Yes, that is correct Jeff.
Laura winked at Jeff who then looked at Gabriel.
Jeff Probst - With that being said, it is... time to vote, Gabriel, you're up!
Gabriel stood up and walked to the voting podium. followed by Brian who wrote "Alexis". He put the cap on the extremity of the pencil and took the paper to show it to the camera. He whispered.
Brian - I am not keeping someone who does not want to be here... so bye girl, you asked everyone to vote you out so just leave girl, I just wished there is someone who really wanted to play the game and takes your spot but too bad...
Brian bended his vote and deposits it into the voting urn to walk back to the bench where Jerri stood up followed by Alexis. She wrote "Gabriel" on her vote. Without any explanation, she bended it and put it in the urn to walk back and let Sugar vote. When Laura arrived at the voting podium, she wondered a few seconds, and then finally reached the pencil on the voting paper. After that, Tyson voted and Nate closed the voting process. He sat down and we could see Jeff ready to go.
Jeff Probst - I'll tally the votes...
When Jeff left, we could see Alexis, not worried at all, Laura looking at her tribe mates, and Gabriel probably looking at Jeff counting the votes. Jeff Probst came back with the urn and put it on his podium. He puts his hand on the cap of the urn.
Jeff Probst - Once the votes are read, decision is final, person voted out will be asked to leave tribal council immediately... I'll read the votes...
1st Vote...
1 Alexis.
2nd Vote...
2 Alexis.
Alexis wasn't budging as Laura looked at her. She looked back at Jeff.
3rd Vote...
3 Alexis.
Jerri raised her eyebrows.
4th Vote...
3 Alexis, 1 Gabriel.
Gabriel frowned his eye brows.
5th Vote...
4 Alexis, 1 Gabriel.
6th Vote...
And the first person voted out of Survivor : Indonesia...
7 Alexis, 1 Gabriel.
Alexis smiled and stood up. She reached her torch while Tyson was glaring at her.
Tyson - Bye Bitch!
Alexis puts her torch in front of her where Jeff got ready to snuff it.
Jeff Probst - Alexis, tribe has spoken!
With her torch snuffed, Alexis walked away without looking at her tribe mates. Once she was gone, Jeff looked at Numfor.
Jeff Probst - Seems like you got rid of your weakest member, let's see if it pays off in the next immunity challenge, Grab torches, head back to camp!
The tribe stood up and grabbed their torches. We could see Gabriel taking his torch to then walk out of the tribal council with the rest of his tribe.
CLOSING
Voiceover - Next time on… Survivor!
Voiceover - At Numfor camp, Laura annoys her tribe…
Laura (At Camp) - Now get that FAT ASS OUTTA HERE.
Laura (At Challenge) - I am kidding! Chill.
Confessional Gabriel - My opinion about Laura changed.
Voiceover - While at Yapen camp, alliances have started to form themselves…
Charlie - What the ___? Since when do we have an alliance?
Natalie - Since like five minutes ago?
Voiceover - And a new leader seems to emerge!
Confessional Anthony - I think I am in a good position at the moment.
Anthony and Scout shakes hands.
Confessional Scout - Do I believe him? Yes I do.
FINAL WORDS
We could see Alexis telling her final words.
Final Words Alexis -
I feel kind of relieved that I was voted out, cause I did ask to be voted out, so I wasn't like sad or anything, if I didn't it probably would have been the same, but if I wasn't going to ask to be voted out, I would have talked more and I probably could've got the vote switched to someone else. I hope my tribe dominates the game.
